Urine and Dung emissions and how to reduce them

A quick summary of why urine and dung represents part of my emissions and how I can address it.

   Urine and dung release nitrous oxide and methane during microbial decomposition, especially in high-traffic grazing areas.
2. How can I reduce my urine and dung emissions?
   
   • Implement rotational grazing to distribute manure more evenly.
   • Use nitrification inhibitors to reduce nitrous oxide emissions from urine patches.
   • Improve pasture diversity to enhance nutrient uptake.
