There are five steps to a soil carbon project - always remember: RBIMC
The regulations governing soil carbon projects have detailed and complex requirements. AgriProve is committed to managing that process to allow farmers to focus on building soil carbon on their land, claiming carbon credits and unlocking the benefits of increased soil health and productivity.
AgriProve has developed a simple 5-step process to register, generate and claim soil carbon credits to remove the administrative burden for farmers.
- Register: The landholder provides farm details, and AgriProve registers the project with the Clean Energy Regulator
- Baseline: AgriProve conducts soil sampling to measure the initial soil organic carbon
- Implement: The landholder implements land management strategies to build soil carbon and increase farm productivity
- Measure: AgriProve measures the changes in soil organic carbon
- Credit: Based on any increase in soil organic carbon, AgriProve helps the landholder to claim and sell Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs)
Throughout this process, AgriProve will coordinate, communicate and organise all necessary information for your soil carbon project to run smoothly and to the compliance levels required of the Clean Energy Regulator.
