Who is AgriProve and why choose us?

There are emerging soil carbon project developers out there but we are confident that AgriProve is the right choice for you.

What is the background story of AgriProve?

AgriProve was founded by Corporate Carbon, which was the first business to receive Australian soil carbon credits under the federal government’s ACCU Scheme in 2019. After identifying the scale of soil carbon sequestration potential in Australia, AgriProve was formed as a special purpose vehicle to cater specifically for the soil carbon opportunity, having a hand in developing Australia’s soil carbon methodology.

What are AgriProve’s points of difference?

  1. Risk management: AgriProve takes on board the regulatory and compliance responsibility as the project proponent.
  2. Cost coverage: We cover all project costs incurred after baselining is complete, meaning money stays on farm.
  3. Baseline cost deferral: Start quickly with the option to defer baseline sampling costs with future generated ACCUs.
  4. Efficiency: AgriProve has a streamlined the registration process for faster project establishment.
  5. Generated ACCUs: We have several credited projects with over 50 going through the crediting process with the Clean Energy Regulator, which is the largest number under the ACCU Scheme.
  6. Succession security: Land ownership changes are managed by AgriProve in its role as Proponent. Any new landholder whether by succession or ordinary sale is able to have a carbon project novated to them as Operator.   Read what happens in the event of land sale here.
  7. Flexibility in management: At least one eligible activity must be implemented as a requirement of the methodology; however, there are no prescriptive measures from AgriProve telling you what to do.
  8. Optimised project design: Projects are mapped and stratified to maximise sequestration efforts by minimising on farm soil variability.
  9. ACCU utilisation: Freedom to choose how you use the ACCUs that you generate to suit your preferences.
  10. Partnership model: We understand that cash is valuable to have on farm, which is why AgriProve developed a partnership model within our soil carbon projects to maximise the money that is kept at your disposal. We only get paid when you do, meaning that we have a vested interest in the outcome of your project as your success is our success.
